In reality, a detailed move-in report protects both the landlord and the tenant. It creates complete transparency from the very beginning of the tenancy and significantly reduces the risk of disagreements when the tenant moves out.

Record Utility Meter Readings
The first step during every property handover is recording the readings of all utility meters on the day the tenant moves into the apartment.
